Barry was previously co-founder and manager of the Irish subsidiary of PlayFirst Inc. a leading San Francisco based publisher of casual games for a female audience. Popular PlayFirst franchises include Diner Dash, Wedding Dash and Chocolatier. He was iPhone product manager within PlayFirst and led the production of multiple iPhone versions of PlayFirst’s games from the Dublin studio, including Cooking Dash which reached #2 in the U.S. App Store Chart.
Prior to founding PlayFirst Ireland, Barry had ten years experience developing software in the games, robotics, automotive and ﬁnancial software industries. He developed high-performance trading platforms at Optiver derivatives Trading in Amsterdam, automotive diagnostic tools at Snap-on Diagnostics and worked in game development at Sega of America in San Francisco, on the Dreamcast Network team in ‘99. Barry holds a BSc. in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin. He is responsible for the business development, management and product strategy of the company.
Tudor is a Romanian game designer with more than 15 years experience in playing,
making and selling games in a wide range of genres from board games, computer games
to social games.
His first project as a game designer was the critically acclaimed Silent Hunter 3, which is still praised as being the best submarine simulation game ever made. He spends the next 7 years working as Lead Designer at Ubisoft mainly working on the Silent Hunter franchise and several other console titles.
In 2008 he started the first brick and mortar board games store in Romania with the mission to bring all the unplugged gaming experience to the Romanian market – from board games and card games to role-playing games.
Prior to joining SnowGlobe Games he was the lead of Design and Art department at Gotigo, a startup company which made a new groundbreaking category of social, mobile and tablet games and created several social games for both web and iOS.
Doru has more than ten years experience in software industry, all of this time spent programming Internet applications. He was previously manager of the team behind blackjack.com and led a team that successfully launched and operated an online credit card processing system.
Doru is the driving force behind SnowGlobe’s technology infrastructure where he leverages his previous experience to build highly scalable social game servers.
Doru holds a BSc. degree in IT from University of Bucharest, Romania and wasted his youth playing a ZX Spectrum Compatible called Cobra.
Pete has seven years experience as a lead artist in the games and animation industries. Pete was lead artist at Instinct Technology (2002 – 2006), his responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, delegation, art direction, staff training, managing external contractors, liaising with producer and programming lead and managing staff as well as full-time hands-on art production in every aspect of game development. Pete also spent time in the role of 3D supervisor at Oscar nominated Brown Bag Films.
Pete is currently lead artist at an Emmy award winning game physics middleware company.
Pete advises SnowGlobe on the hiring of artists and designers in Europe. He also helps deﬁne SnowGlobe’s creative direction and art production processes.

We are looking for experienced game developers to build 3D client applications for multi-player casino games.

SnowGlobe Games is looking for an ambitious level designer with experience with game editors or modding tools, and with passion for making games, to work on the company’s Diablo-style mobile Action RPG.
The candidate is expected to:
Work full-time in Bucharest
Learn to use the game’s custom level editor, with help from the dev team
use brush-like tools to edit terrain
position 3D objects (from the editor’s library) as obstacles or decorations
place enemies and treasures on maps
create interesting gameplay events using the game’s trigger system
Create levels that are fun to play and look great
Candidates are expected to have artistic inclinations and attention to detail, but are NOT expected to create 3D models or textures themselves. Knowledge of a scripting language is a big plus. Applications must contain a portfolio of screenshots from the candidate’s previous level design work (personal projects are welcome and appreciated).
